The brandmark conveys the idea of movement. The fish icons are inserted in an oval in opposite directions, relating to the idea of ferries: coming and going on an established route. The development of the identity has evolved through the years, creating multiple collateral materials and communication pieces, into a complex identity system.
Some of the Graphic Design projects I have developed for UltraMar apart from the logo design are:
Total image for the UltraMar Maritime terminal in Puerto Juarez including exterior signage, signage system for the whole complex, ticket booth design.
Stationary including ticket design as well as internal pieces; point of sale – ticket booths – in every point of purchase in Playa del Carmen and Cancun.
Uniforms, vehicle & boat image standards including all the vessels of the fleet on the exterior and interior, as the carpet and upholstering patterns were also designed.
Several printed materials have been designed such as a rack brochure, sales kit, flyers, as well as magazine and newspaper ads.
